A well-coordinated and well-funded international "orchestra" has steadily advanced the culture of death and gender ideology through laws that undermine life, family, marriage, and fundamental freedoms.
We, The Political Network for Values (www.polticalnetworkforvalues.org) , urgently need your help for young leaders who attended the European Parliament in Brussels April 27-28, 2017. We believe developing these future leaders is so vital, that we took a loan of $5,000 to cover their expenses. We are asking you for donations to repay the loan.
As noted in an article about the group on Church Militant, “Today’s young leaders might be tomorrow’s decision makers…”
The Political Network for Values grew out of an initiative of former Spanish Minister of Home Affairs and European Parliament Member Mr. Jaime Mayor Oreja. Together with legislators from Europe, the United States and Mexico, they created a trans-Atlantic cooperation on the issues of life, marriage, family and fundamental freedoms.
In December 2014, the first Trans-Atlantic Summit was held at the United Nations headquarters in New York to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the International Year of the Family. During that session, the Political Network for Values was formalized as an international platform and network for legislators to facilitate synergy between political, social and intellectual resources and to serve as a voice both locally and globally.
The successful outcome as well as the positive responses from legislators after the first summit inspired a second one, held in September 2015 in Washington, DC. These summits brought together a combined total of 120 legislators and high-ranking government officials from 33 countries, and 125 representatives from civil society and academia, from the European Union, North, Central, and South America, and Africa.
To train the next generation of leaders, in collaboration with the US-based NGO Global Responsibility, an accompanying Youth Program developed. Young adults aspiring to civic and political leadership are selected to attend a formation session during the days immediately prior to the summit; they participate as logistical volunteers during the events.
This program is designed for young leaders with political and civic restlessness, those who want to begin taking responsibility for the future and aspire to exercise service through leadership. They orient their academic projects and professional future toward the construction of a common good. These young leaders, in serving the Political Network for Values' summits, are preparing themselves to carry on the legacy of the work of the legislators and leaders now educating them.
Imagine if there was no one to continue the promotion and defense of our shared values when today’s legislators retire! We must ensure there is a future generation to persevere in this task! We urgently need your help to continue this program. We need young leaders to maintain the promotion and defense of life, family, marriage, and fundamental freedoms within the civic and political realms.
The most recent summit took place at the European Parliament in Brussels, April 27-28, 2017. We urgently need your financial support to repay the $5000 loan we took to cover the transportation, lodging and meals for the young leaders who attended. Would you please consider helping us? Invest for the future!
